Description

Feeling stressed? We’ve got you covered.
Joyscore has made a well-rounded effort towards promoting the well-being and happiness of people. We conduct extensive research regarding all aspects that have an influence on a person’s happiness, from thought-process to potential stress triggers.
Through the game, we’re going to teach you how, and when to express gratitude. We’ll have you write down positive and thankful moments that bring warmth to your heart and a smile to your face. The process will be based on varying aspects and levels of your life. To be specific, we’ll use NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) to train you on what you should input into the gratitude journal, and also help you realize to whom you are grateful. Neat, right?
The journal acts as a tool or a diary where you keep track of all good and positive events that occur in your life.
Our gratitude journal game is extremely simple. Upon launching the game after installation, you’ll see a screen that will allow you to start the game. Start the game and you’ll be asked a question. Select an answer from the given choices and continue with the game. A beautiful butterfly appears to be flapping its wings as it passes through a lush garden. Next, you’ll begin to see a few bugs on the screen that are floating about. You need to move the butterfly around the screen so it doesn’t touch the bugs – if the butterfly touches three bugs, the game is over.
A few seconds later flowers will pop up at a few spots across your screen. Touch the flower with the butterfly. When you do this, positive and uplifting quotes will appear on the screen, be sure to read them. Continue playing until the screen shows that you’ve completed the level.
Next, you’ll see a question at the top of the screen and a text box where you can answer. This is your journal where you input honest answers. Type out your answer and hit save. If you want to refer back to any of the entries in your journal, they’re accessible from the bottom right of the home screen.
This simplistic approach to journaling is extremely helpful in igniting the gratefulness that otherwise remains suppressed. The gratitude journal helps you:
Increase positivity: You’ll begin to feel a change in your perspective, and how it has begun to notice more closely all the positive aspects of your regular life.
Improves self-esteem: Gratitude has the effect of boosting your self-esteem and you’re more likely to feel worthy of the love and respect you’ve been receiving.
Helps you sleep better: When you’re not stressed or anxious, you’ll sleep better. A decent sleep will further your agenda of living a happy life filled with positivity.
Makes you happier: Gratitude directly impacts your happiness. When you voluntarily take note of things that you’re grateful for, it brings you happiness and joy.
Reduces stress: A lasting feeling of happiness has a range of benefits, one of which is reduced stress. A healthy sleep cycle, positive outlook, and reduced stress all come together to make you a joyful person.
Improves physical health: Stress adversely affects several physical health attributes which, if left unchecked, can result in long-lasting ailments. Gratitude journaling improves physical health by minimizing your stress levels and boosting your happiness.
Enhances empathy and reduces aggression: When you’re feeling happy, you’re more like to empathize with the pain of others and less likely get frustrated with tense situations.
The Joyscore team is keen on developing unique approaches that are simple (to facilitate consistency) and effective, to give you a more joyful life.
It’s also recommended that you glance through your journal entries every once in a while, to take stock of what things make you feel truly grateful. But leave the rest to us, and we promise the game will help you connect the dots to a happier, more joyful life!
